Lunches and Milk

We have recently brought our catering provision in-house, and prepare all meals from scratch in our school kitchen. Our menu is full of delicious choices including a meat-free day every week. We are happy to cater for special diets, and take care to ensure our meals are suitable for pupils who have allergies or food intolerances.

Pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals. For those in Year 3 and above, school dinners cost £2.65 per day and we ask that all meals are paid for in advance. Information about children's entitlement to free school meals is available on the Local Authority website and you can apply for free school meals here: www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/freeschoolmeals

If pupils wish to bring a packed lunch, we ask parents to support us in being a ‘Healthy Eating School’ and refrain from including chocolate bars or sweets. We also have a no cans or glass bottles rule for safety.

Our school meals can be ordered and paid for through ParentPay.  As this is a new system this year, we have included instructions on how to order below:

Milk

Free school milk is provided until your child’s fifth birthday, thereafter, you can purchase milk termly (approx 28p a day). We use CoolMilk who arrange orders and delivery of school milk.

If you wish your child to have milk at school please register with www.coolmilk.com.

The School will provide a piece of fruit or vegetable for KS1 children every morning.
