Additional Resources:

Below, you will find additional resources you may wish to explore to further support the children's learning at home.

Times Tables Resources

By the end of Year 4, the aim is to know all times tables up to 12 x 12. We practice these in class, but regular practice at home also helps children embed these. After Christmas we will begin a weekly times table test to encourage children to learn and retain their times tables. Introducing these tables at home before then can only help!

Here are a few ideas and resources for practicing times tables:

White Rose Booklets

If you would like to support your child with their maths learning, White Rose Maths (the scheme that forms the basis for our Maths lessons) have provided free workbooks for each unit throughout the school year. These will generally reflect the work children will be completing in class throughout this unit. Used in conjunction with the termly Curriculum Overview and school progression documents, these will give you a clear understanding of what your child will be learning in each unit this year.
