Phonics:
Choose a book that you like to read at home and have a look through it. Can you recognise any of the sounds and words in the book? Who is your favourite character? Have a go at drawing them, and then try to add some labels using your sounds to describe them.
Maths:
Go on a scavenger hunt around your house, for each round you have one minute to find as many things in the following categories as possible. Once time is up, count how many things you have found.
- Things smaller than your hand
- Spotty things
- Smooth things
- Things that are your favourite colour
- Things you can play with
- Books
Make sure you tidy up in between each round!
