4th November 2016:

On Wednesday this week we completed our Wonderful Writes based on time travel to the future. We started our new unit in English based on the book 'Shackleton's Journey'. We have been working hard on fractions in maths, using cross multiplication to find equivalent fractions. We learnt the following rhyme to help us:

"Change the numerator using multiply or divide

And the same to the denominator must be applied."

Next Monday we will be going on a RE trip so bring coats and our PE on Wednesday will hopefully be at the Rec to train for Cross Country.

21st October 2016:

We had a really brilliant half-term! Every pupil worked so hard and we have achieved so much! Well done all! Have a wonderful break and see you all on Tuesday 1st November!

Our English book next term is Shackleton's Journey by William Grill if you want to do some half-term reading!

14th October 2016:

This week we have had lots of fun on our topic: developing and flying paper planes, devising poetry about Owls in flight and creating lots of brilliant Apple Artwork!

7th October 2016:

We had a fantastic trip to the farm this week. Some of us went on the trailer for the first time and had fun waving to the passers by!

Our Y6 English Challenge team did brilliantly at the Heats and were awarded "Best Teamwork".

On Thursday, the Y6s had a great evening exploring CVC.

We hope everyone enjoyed our class assembly!
